I started cooking in preparation for Christmas 2015
I got fed up with eating the rubbish that is pumped out as convenient food by the big food producers, so I have taken it on myself to feed the family with a more healthy option. This has started me on this healthy food quest but cooking with the same amount of time per day as our normal cooking time.
This journey has evolved into cooking different types of food; we now cook what before we would have ordered form the take away and try something new every week. This has made such a difference not only in the quality of the food we eat but also the budget. The biggest expense was to stock the cupboard with the essentials, now it’s a case of replenishing when needed.
