- 6 slices smoked bacon
- 80g mature cheese
- sprinkle of parmesan
- 350g conchiglle or penne pasta
- 1 pint white sauce
- Cook pasta until al dente
- Fry or grill bacon till crispy and tear into 1 inch pieces, mix with cooked pasta and transfer to oven proof dish
- make the sauce as per my recipe and season with black pepper, pour over the pasta, top with grated cheese and grill until golden about 10 – 15 minutes
