Ingredients
- 400g minced beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
- 1dsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1tsp paprika
- 1tsp mixed herbs
- Gravy granules
For the mash
- 5 -6 potatoes pealed and chopped
- Milk and butter
- Grate cheese
Method
- Put the potatoes on to boil with a little salt. Put some oil into a large pan on a medium heat. Then add the onion cook for 4 minutes or until soft
- Add the beef and cook until all the beef is coloured
- Then add the paprika and mixed herbs, stir in and cook for another 2 minutes
- Then add the tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes
- At this stage add some gravy granules enough to thicken the sauce
- At this stage transfer this into a casserole dish and leave to cool
- Mash the potatoes with some milk and butter the gentle folk over the mince
- Grate cheese over the top enough to cover the mash
- Place into a pre heated oven at 180 for about30 minutes or until the top has browned
