Cranberry hoisin



  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cm piece of ginger
  • 200 g frozen cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons low-salt soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons runny honey
  • 2 clementine



  1. Into a pan add a splash of oil, Roughly chop and add the garlic and ginger, add 1 teaspoon of five-spice. then stir in the cranberries.
  2. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the soy, rice wine vinegar, honey, clementine juice and a splash of water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until thick and glossy.
  3. Pour into a blender and blitz until smooth, then taste and season .
  4. If you’re doing it in a pan, just follow the instructions above, adding a splash of oil to the pan before the garlic, ginger and five-spice.
