Wasabi Peas

  • 1 pound bag of frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons wasabi powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

Dehydrate The Peas

  1. Preheat oven to 225F and allow the frozen peas to defrost. Run them under warm water to speed up the process.
  2. Evenly spread the peas on a lightly sprayed baking sheet and place them in the oven. Cook for approximately 5 hours to dehydrate the peas, turning the peas once an hour to promote even heating.
  3. Remove from the oven when the peas are dehydrated, but still slightly chewy.

Make The Wasabi Coating

  1. Prior to the peas completing their dehydration, mix the wasabi powder, mustard powder, and vinegar in a large bowl.

Coat And Bake

  1. Coat the peas evenly with this wasabi marinade, then place them back on the baking sheet and bake them for another 60 – 75 minutes.
  2. Serve or store the peas for up to three days.
